I have been looking at different songs to have in the background of our video, these are some I came across that i think would be appopriate;

'Hunting for witches' by Bloc Party
A fresh, modern song, done by a popular band. I think this would be effective because
1. It would appeal to young people (Bloc Party's main audience) - and it is important we appeal to young people because they tend to be thrill seekers and therefore would watch our film.
2. The lyrics are about witches - who are 'stereotypically' evil, scary, old women who many people dress up as for Halloween. PERFECT to put our audience on the edge of their seat in our thriller.

'Aha! cover'
This song is very strange, the bad quality almost gives an eery feel to it. The girl sounds vulnerable, like the girl in our video will be!

'Bird' by The Knife
I think this alternative song only had such a creepy effect because of the echo on the voices. It gives a ghost like effect.

'Uninvited' by Free Masons
This song has a good fast beat to it, this would be great with the shot of a character being chased.

'And you belong to me' Scream club
I particularly liked the lyrics to this. For example, 'and you belong to me' for example is repeated several times, it sounds frightening because it gives the impression that someone has no control over themselves.
This also inspired the idea for a story line. Gaby and I thought that it sounded like a stalker, or an angry ex-boyfriend, and that as a plot for the video we could have a couple breaking up and the boy (handling it badly) coming after the girl.
