What we need to include

When we were thinking of common features in a thriller I drew up a list and the list included:

- Gradual build up of tension
- An evil character
- A 'victim'
- A relevant setting to the plot
- Music to suit the plot
- Costume to suit the setting, the year and the plot. also costume should portray certain characteristics of the character for example; a powerful woman should wear dark colours such as black or purple whilst a feminine woman should wear light colours such as pink or white.
- A plot that encourages tension and helps the audience empathise with the characters.
