This is a picture we found on the internet of a body floating down a river in a bag, this ties into our thriller idea because our new plot is about a murder. We experimented with different colors to see the different atmospheres they could create. The sepia effect makes it look as if it happened years ago in the past but it doesnt give the same tension build up as the red! The red symbolises danger, death and blood, it is a connotation that makes the viewer feel anxious and at risk. The black and white has a monochrome feel to it, it makes the viewer feel like it is actually happening and is factual, so the viewer it is realistic. It also adds an old effect like the sepia, because it is just like when the first silent movies came out years ago in monochrome black and white.
