Another film we gained massive inspiration from was Phone Booth, this is because it is very simplistic for example it is only set in one place, a phone booth, this gives the sense that the protagonist is trapped with no escape. The antagonist is suspected to be in a tall building near the phone booth which shows the status between them both, the antagonist is higher as he is in control and the protagonist is lower as he is powerless. The music also builds up tension throughout the whole film, and specifically in some places of intense action and violence.
The lack of characters also makes it simplistic as there are only 5 'main' characters in the whole film, this gives the audience a personal feel as they are now involved in his life and learn alot about him throughout the whole film. Finnally there are many dilemmas and choices that the main character has to make to ensure survival and survival for his loved ones. This helps the audience empathise with the protagonist and keeps us interested.
